Cookbook Design
This editorial project was both stimulating and inspiring: the graphic design of a cookbook dedicated to authentic Italian tradition, entirely produced in Chinese.
The main focus was to give strong emphasis to the photography of the dishes and details, while maintaining a minimal and clean layout with a modern and sophisticated aesthetic.
The book opens with an introductory section on Italian cuisine: the order of courses, regional specialties, how to cook pasta and the main types of pasta. The core of the book is dedicated to the recipes: each dish is introduced with a full-page photograph, alongside details such as ingredients, level of difficulty, cooking time, and servings. The preparation is presented step by step, with each stage illustrated by a dedicated photograph, guiding the reader clearly and intuitively towards the final dish.
