Photography Catalogue Design

I designed this photography catalogue to accompany a curated exhibition, serving both as a keepsake for visitors and as a publication available for purchase. The goal was to create a layout that honoured the photographs, ensuring they translated beautifully into print while maintaining the visual integrity of each piece.

The collection included images in various formats — horizontal, vertical, square, and mixed proportions — as well as curated photo sets that needed to be presented cohesively. Careful consideration was given to spacing, sequencing, and page composition, allowing the imagery to take centre stage without unnecessary distractions.

Each photograph was accompanied by the photographer’s name, a short description, and key technical details. The design approach combined clarity and elegance, using a minimal typographic style and balanced layouts to create a refined visual flow throughout the catalogue.

From concept to final print-ready files, I oversaw the entire design process, working closely with the curatorial team to ensure the catalogue reflected the spirit of the exhibition while offering visitors a tangible way to revisit and connect with the works long after their visit.

I have a deep passion for designing books, catalogues, and magazines, and I particularly enjoyed the challenge of finding the best way to present photographs of different sizes and proportions to showcase them at their very best.
