Bachelor’s Thesis Book Design
For my bachelor’s thesis, I carried out an in-depth research project focused on logo design. The work was divided into four books, each exploring a different facet of the subject: the first addressed communication in general, with an introduction to the concept of the logo; the second traced the history of logos; the third explored the process of creating a logo, offering a step-by-step guide to design; and the fourth served as a curated catalogue of the most iconic logos.
After completing the research, I wrote the entire text myself, presenting the content in a clear and engaging way for each volume. Once the writing was finalised, I designed the visual layout of all four books, taking care of the typography, composition, and overall aesthetic to ensure a coherent and visually appealing series.
This project allowed me to merge my research work with my passion for editorial and graphic design, shaping the project from the first idea to the finished collection.

This was the first editorial project I curated as part of an academic examination, and it was here that I discovered my passion for this type of work. Since then, designing layouts for books, publications, and magazines has become one of my greatest professional joys.
Thank you for being here, Alice
